Cari Noga received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1991. For 10 years she reported at daily newspapers in Illinois, Iowa and Michigan, winning awards from the Michigan Associated Press and the Michigan Press Association in 2000.
Since 2001 she has worked as a freelance writer based in Traverse City, Michigan. She is a regular contributor to the Detroit Free Press, Michigan’s largest daily paper. Her first book, Road Bicycling: Michigan, a guidebook to bicycling in the state, will be published by Globe-Pequot Press in 2004.
In addition, her work has been published in numerous consumer and trade magazines, on-line publications, and broadcast on National Public Radio affiliate WIAA, Interlochen, Mich. (91.5 FM) She is available for assignment.
